Mina. How Much Land Does a Man Need? Installation / 2012
The installation tells a story of a German Russian emigrant Mina Martin. The issue of Limited Space is personified in this work. Here a person is percieved as an archive of his or her own history as well as a representative of the life experiences of many emigrants. The Title How Much Land Does \a Man Need? is a reference of a short story by Leo Tolstoi.
This installation was concepted for the exhibition Limited Space: Sarajevo / Berlin that took place at the designtransfer gallery in November 2012.Limited Space is a Cooperation between the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo (ALU) and the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK)
